I think age 3 is my favorite age of kiddos to photograph, I love how genuine they are. A few weeks ago I was able to take preschool photos at my friend Lori’s preschool. To get the kids to warm up to me “the dork who sticks a camera in their face,” I ask them numerous questions to get them to feel comfortable with me. Some of the best responses,
me “what is your favorite food?” cute 3 yr old “dinner” me “how old are you?” cute 4 yr old “I am getting older everyday”
Enjoy a few of my favorite photos!

A couple of these are sibling shots that I added some fun textures to…

Thanks for looking..til next time

Yes it is that time of year.. the time of year when I get very behind, totally overwhelmed, and feel guilty about everything. I love being busy with my business and seeing how my clients have changed over the past year. Between the crazy fall schedule for photos, soccer season, marching band season, carpools, back to school meetings, fundraisers, and the start of cold and flu season (yep we have already been hit by the flu bug) life just gets crazy. So a couple of weeks ago I got to do a senior session with twins from American Fork High School. It was such a fun session.. here is one- the rest are coming soon.. I promise. And head’s up to the preschool parents- you get your photos next week!!! yeah !!

So my oldest just finished two years of braces and I had to give a shout out to our orthodontist, Dr.Reid Swenson in Lehi Utah. Their office has been awesome to work with. They showed off their “awesomeness” when we showed up for the last appointment. Right before we arrived my two year got car sick and filled our van with smelly chunks of milk (is that to graphic?) I had to strip him down to his diaper while I sent my oldest upstairs to get to his appointment. By the time I got upstairs their whole staff was waiting for me prepared with many towels and cleaning supplies. -What I really needed was a hose- However I was able to de chunk our van well enough to get home and “hose down” the car seat and bathe the two yr old. Every day an adventure! Dr Swenson and his office rock- just check out these great teeth!
I love this t-shirt he received when the braces came off- funny thing he is probably the only nearly 15 yr old with no cell phone.

Ok another Facebook story..A while ago when I set up my account on FB I had fun reconnecting with friends from all over. One was a friend from high school and church back in Oregon. Come to find out we live pretty close to another.. go figure. Anyhow, a few months ago she contacted me about taking her oldest son’s senior pictures. I can’t believe we have kids this old.. I swear I was just getting my own senior pictures taken. Brandon, thanks for putting up with me, I hope you enjoy your photos.
